Easy Cheesy Kale Chips (Veto)


These super nutritious kale chips are the perfect blend of cheesy, crunchy and salty goodness to enjoy as a nutritious snack or add as a side to any Mexican burrito bowl, bolognese, roast dinner or sprinkled on top of a falafel buddha bowl!

These scrumptious chippies are:

Vegan/ Plant-based

Rich in energising B vitamins from both the kale and savoury yeast

Packed full of powerful antioxidants

A good source of vitamin K, calcium and magnesium for healthy bones, teeth and muscles

Super easy to make

High in vitamins A, C and E for healthy immune and cellular function

Ingredients:

1 bunch kale, fresh

2tbsp savoury yeast flakes (aka nutritional yeast)

1tbsp olive oil, virgin, cold pressed 1 big pinch salt, pink Himalayan or Celtic sea salt

Optional: 1tbsp tahini to serve

Method:

1. Preheat oven to 180 C

2. Chop kale bunch and talks roughly and place in bowl

3. Add olive oil, salt and savoury yeast to bowl and toss kale to coat in oil

4. Spread coated kale on lined baking paper tray and cook in oven for 10-15minutes until golden and crunchy to touch. Careful they the chips don't burn. Then drizzle with tahini for extra creaminess and wa la! Enjoy!
